[5] Scarce Times: Alternative Futures | Q&A

Questions regarding Stages 2 and 3 of the project should be emailed to Jeremy Till j.till[at]westminster.ac.uk before 12pm on Monday 9th July. Collected answers will be posted here by 12pm on 10th July.

Only one question, which suggests our briefing was perfect!

Do we need to include a local group/person in our team for stage two?

You can if you want, but it is not necessary, and it will not be counted against you if you don’t. We are aware how difficult getting a local connection might be for some teams at this stage. It is our intention to work closely with local people/groups once the final teams have been selected, so there will be community input then.

What needs to be submitted with the registration form?
Please submit the completed registration form only. All further requirements will be emailed to you on or after June 14.

We are team from abroad and want to participate. Is this possible?

Yes, but you should be aware that the process after the second event will involve quite a lot of local consultation and engagement, and this would be impossible to do from overseas – so if you are serious about entering, it should be with a commitment to taking part in the later processes on the ground.

Is it possible to change the submission title given on  the registration form during the development of the project?
Yes, it is possible to change the title of your project – even after 14 June 2012.

Is there any selection of the submissions to be presented on the first part of this projects?
Teams can take part on a ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis, i.e., you should register soon in order to reserve your slot for presentation on July 2.

I would like to take part in the competition – is there financial support during the first stages?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide financial support.
