On 15 June 2012, the SCIBE team will hold a workshop session at the ICLEI World Congress in Belo Horizonte, Brasil. The Congress will deal with the pressing issues facing local governments and urban areas in this unpredictable era of change and is closely linked to the UN Rio+20 conference. Our session – Perspectives on scarcity, creativity and the built environment - will draw on research in Reykjavik, Oslo and London to explore the concepts of scarcity and creativity in the context of the built environment.
